AWWA D103-09 Design Standard Bolted Steel Potable Water Storage Tanks
Our bolted steel potable water storage tanks engineering design meet or exceed AWWA D103-09 and EN/ISO28765:2011, and our bolted steel tank engineers make tank engineering calculation on each specific tank structure according to project local environmental conditions, such as snow load, wind speed, seismic zone etc., to make sure the tank structure's adequate security in long-term service life. The steel round (cylindrical) shell of the tank is built from two-layer enameled sheets coated on both sides. The sheets are attached with special high-grade bolts and sealed by constantly flexible silicone (sealant). The surface of connecting material and the shell itself are properly treated. It has been recognized that glass fused tank as an excellent tank for water and wastewater treatment
Bolted potable water tanks are made Glass-Fused-to-Steel that are manufactured and finished offsite, greatly reducing the time and labor involved in the field. Once delivered, each section is erected, sealed with gaskets and bolted to adjacent sections. This results in an installation process that is quick and easy, far faster than installation of concrete or welded tanks, and it is not subject to the weather delays that often stall the installation of competing designs.
